Good news: International carbon accounting standards are unifying

The International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) and Greenhouse Gas Protocol (GHG Protocol) announced on Wednesday that they will combine their corporate carbon accounting standards into a single, harmonised global accounting standard.

The combined standard is not here yet. Consultation is expected in Q2 2027 and final publication in Q4 2028.

This validates the direction Vizibli and our partners are taking. We look forward to aligning to this unified model.
