Summary
Cotswold, an architectural product producer to the building sector, managed to accelerate its Scope 3 (supply chain) reporting by engaging Ltt Group and Vizibli to accurately report their emissions. As a result, they have been able respond to customer information requests and win additional customer business.
How Ltt and Cotswold Architectural Products accelerated supply chain carbon reporting using Vizibli
Cotswold is an SME architectural hardware supplier. With help from Vizibli partner, Ltt Group, they turned mounting customer carbon questions into a commercial advantage and brought its Scope 3 plans forward, including manufacturing in India.
Background
Cotswold Architectural Products is a UK architectural hardware business of around 40 people.
It supplies window and door manufacturers across construction, trade and tender-led supply chains, mainly through distributors and directly to UPVC window manufacturers. It runs UK operations from a rented warehouse and office, and owns a manufacturing facility in India.
The business already held ISO 9001. It was considering ISO 14001, but needed to understand its carbon position first.
Then the questions started. Customers and supply chain partners wanted more than ISO certificates. They were asking about carbon, evidence, policy and supply chain transparency — the kind of questions that decide tenders.
Cotswold needed answers it could stand behind and brought in Vizibli partner, Ltt Consulting.
Key requirements
Cotswold is an SME with no in-house sustainability function. Whatever it built had to be fast, accurate and easy to maintain — and credible enough to put in front of corporate customers.
Working with Ltt, the priorities were clear:
• Understand what customers were really asking, and what evidence would satisfy them.
• Produce a carbon baseline for the 2025–26 reporting period that would stand up to scrutiny.
• Support ISO 14001 readiness with credible carbon accounting.
• Reach Scope 3 across a UK-and-India group — including overseas manufacturing and global logistics.
• Turn sustainability from a compliance cost into something commercially useful.
Solution
LTT LED THE ENGAGEMENT
Ltt Consulting ran a free 90-minute discovery call, then a first-stage proposal. Once instructed, a further working session unpacked the customer questions, what they meant, and what data was needed. Ltt commissioned competitor research to see how others in the sector were positioning sustainability, and delivered an initial report within two weeks.
The first phase was an eight-week sprint covering the 2025–26 reporting period: a carbon baseline, an internal sales document to answer customer questions, policy and website wording for leadership sign-off, and a clear structure for future activity.
Throughout, Ltt did the work that only a consultant can: translating sustainability pressure into commercial action, evidence and client-friendly language.
VIZIBLI DID THE HEAVY LIFTING ON THE NUMBERS
Underneath the advisory work sat Vizibli. Ltt used the platform to build and calculate the carbon baseline — an AI-first system that automates emissions calculations using approved GHG factors and links spend data directly to carbon.
Work that would have meant weeks of manual spreadsheets was produced in a fraction of the time, with an audit trail behind every number.
Because reporting was this much quicker, easier and more accurate, Ltt and Cotswold could move faster than planned — and brought forward the harder Scope 3 work, including manufacturing in India.
HOW THE PARTNERSHIP WORKS
Ltt Consulting delivered the advisory work and the commercial translation. Vizibli provided the data, calculation and reporting engine that made it fast and accurate.
Outcomes
Ltt delivered an initial report within two weeks and a full first-phase baseline in an eight-week sprint.
Cotswold came away with a carbon baseline, a sales document to answer customer questions, signed-off policy and website wording, and a structure to build on.
The shift in the room mattered as much as the deliverables. At the review call, the client, who had started the project only “10% behind it” and unsure of the return could see the commercial value, how the work supported customer conversations, and wanted to promote it across his industry.
Most telling: with reporting this fast and this accurate, Cotswold accelerated its plans to capture and report supply chain emissions. The project has moved into deeper Scope 3 work.
Ltt is now working with the India team and the group’s global logistics partners, data is flowing, and the project is in detailed carbon calculation capturing overseas manufacturing emissions across the group, sooner than anyone had planned.
The client didn’t just need a carbon report. They needed confidence, clarity and a way to turn sustainability pressure into commercial readiness — quickly. That’s what fast, accurate reporting delivered.
Vizibli is the AI-first platform that automates emissions calculations using approved GHG factors, linking spend and carbon in one place. It helps consultants deliver faster, more accurate, more profitable carbon projects.
